Between Worlds

There’s a moment before I start writing when everything feels suspended, the world I live in and the world I’m about to enter standing side by side, waiting for me to choose.

Most days are defined by structure, clarity, responsibility. The real world has weight. It has edges. It has rules.

But when I write, something shifts. The edges soften. The noise fades. The inner world steps forward and asks to be heard.

I don’t write to escape one world for another. I write because both shape me, because reality sharpens imagination and imagination reveals truths the real world hides.

Maybe that’s what writing is for me, a meeting point between what is and what could be, between the seen and the felt, between the life I live and the one that unfolds on the page.

If you’re here, you’re standing in that space with me, the in between, where everything begins.
