Stepping into the colours
Creativity doesn’t feel like a thought to me. It feels like water, like entering something instead of forcing it, like a color spreading before I can name it. When I write, I don’t step into a world, I sink into it. I let it carry me. I let it guide me.
There is a quiet honesty in that movement, a sense of being led rather than leading, and it’s one of the few places in my life where I don’t try to shape the outcome before it arrives. I allow something larger than myself to speak through me.
Sometimes it’s a color I haven’t seen before.
Sometimes a shadow that shifts just enough to catch my attention.
Sometimes a feeling that rises and insists on becoming something more.
And that’s where magic begins, not in the plot, not in the structure, but in the first spark that whispers, Here.
Something begins here.
It’s a fragile moment, one that asks for trust more than control, and I’ve learned to follow it even when I don’t yet understand where it wants to take me.
I love the freedom of it, the way creativity lets me learn, explore, and create something that didn’t exist until I touched it.
I don’t write to control. I write to discover. To find colors I’ve never seen. To touch worlds that only exist when I breathe them into being.
And maybe, if you walk with me, you’ll discover new ones of your own.
